I updated the driver but I was just able to find a driver for Win 8. Acelyn Alc Replied on February 6, How satisfied are you with this response? Atherls this solve your problem? In my case the driver file is called L1C63x I think the problem is the LAN card.
Sorry this didn’t help. The problem is not internet speed.

I went looking for the ‘setup file’ for the driver and all I was able to locate was the driver itself which is in ‘C: Other computers with Win 7 are woking at the same ethernet cable. Or do I have to downgrade back to Win 7? Click OK and run the setup. The computer is connectet via Ethernet to a router which is working with Gigabit LAN, also with other computers in this network.
